The Body Art Expo, which bills itself as the world's largest tattoo expo, descends on San Francisco's Cow Palace this weekend. Meanwhile, just a few miles away, the American Academy of Dermatology will be holding its annual meeting at Moscone Center. Among the topics under discussion are laser tattoo removal, and the medical and social implications of tattooing. Today we talk tattoos, including the flap over Mattel's new "Tattoos Barbie."
